Led by veterinarian, nutritional expert, and passionate dog lover Dr Joe Inglis, the VetChef nutrition team are dedicated to helping dog owners feed their dogs the very best and most appropriate diets to support their long term health and wellbeing.

Head vet and VetChef founder
Media vet and nutrition expert Dr Joe Inglis is the founder and head vet at VetChef, and leads the team creating the recipes and bespoke diet plans for every VetChef dog.
Joe is passionate about pet nutrition and founded two of the UK’s leading pet food brands (Vet’s Kitchen and tails.com) before starting VetChef. His mission is to help pet parents improve the health and wellbeing of their animal companions through their diet – and after 20 years in the pet food world, Dr Joe believes that fresh, homemade food designed with veterinary expertise is the best way to do this.
When not hard at work creating recipes or fine tuning the VetChef algorithms, Joe spends his time at home in the Cotswolds with his family which includes Pip the pup, three cats and two chickens.

Dr Charley Gray MA (hons) VetMB MRCVS
VetChef Consultant Nutritionist
After graduating from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 2009, Charley quickly became interested in nutrition and the benefits of ethical, whole-food recipes for pets, and she is now one of the UK's leading clinical pet nutritionists.
Charley currently works part time as a GP vet, with the majority of her professional time being taken up with clinical nutritional work, formulating diets for pets with dietary responsive clinical conditions like renal disease, portosystemic shunts and IBD. In addition, Charley also runs canine nutrition courses for veterinary professionals and is a regular speaker and lecturer on nutrition. As a clinical nutritionist at VetChef, Charley is passionate about the positive effect that intelligent, whole-food nutrition can have on pets and how it can be used to manage their medical conditions.

Katie McCaul BSc DipNat VN ANutR
VetChef Accredited Nutritionist
Experienced canine nutritionist Katie McCaul began her career as a veterinary nurse before going on to study a degree in Animal Behaviour and Physiology which deepened her understanding of the importance of species appropriate foods on health and well being.
Katie's experience in the pet food industry over the last 9 years lead to a Diploma in naturopathy with a specialism in nutrition and supporting disease with diet.
Katie's passion is sharing her experience with veterinary professionals and owners through courses and lectures. She is driven to support owners in their choice of fresh feeding and educating how to achieve the right balance for their individual dog.
At VetChef, Katie uses her nutritional expertise to create recipes designed to help dogs with specific health and life-style issues.

Holly Barker
VetChef Accredited Nutritionist
Holly is a canine nutritionist specialising in the feeding of canine athletes and working dogs, with experience in various medical fields spanning 18 years. Holly has applied her knowledge and expertise as an evidence based practitioner to the study and practice of canine nutrition for the past ten years.
Holly has worked with high achieving dogs for the past 5 years, including members of team GB Agility, Crufts winners, Champion working sheepdogs and flyball dogs.
With a passion for the working dog, Holly has five dogs who participate in various sports and sheep work and for the past 20 years has rescued and rehabilitated working sheepdogs. All her dogs and visiting dogs are fed a fresh diet, with a focus on local, seasonal produce, supporting British farming and providing a diet that is varied, healthful and colourful.
